Ticking is a type of cotton that is tightly-woven and durable. It is ideal for projects requiring structure, such as corset making, or items such as feather pillows as the tight weave does not allow the feathers to poke through. Other uses of this kind of fabric include home decor linings, pillow covers, bedding or quilt backing. Its timeless look is enhanced by the satin stripe pattern.
